Precision
Over 40 years of expertise and skill in the field of automatic bending. The Salvagnini Panel Bender was engineered to make Every Part a Good Part. That means zero scrap, your highest part quality and reduced lead time. Dimensional tolerances of Salvagnini Panel Benders are rated at ±0.008 in. Bend angle repeatability is rated at ±0.5 degrees. Tolerances are not impacted by worker skills, material, sheet thickness, product range or batch size.
MAC 3.0 is proprietary technology that is automatic in-cycle adjustment. The MAC 3.0 technology in the Panel Bender measures the bend angle, detects the material thickness and deflection and any material scales variation is detected while the bending process is occurring. If correction is required, the machine automatically compensates. The bending movements are automatically adjusted, and bending is not dependent on material quality
Automation
The future of manufacturing is transitioning from production workers to technology workers. The impact of automation on metal fabrication is relying on machines to do more with Zero Set Up Time. The Panel Bender natively combines automatic bending and handling cycles, and flexibility, with its universal bending tools.
The Salvagnini Press Brake tooling is stored beneath the Backgauge system to dramatically reduce the footprint on the production floor and increase automation.
AUTO – is the system that automatically manages the load and unload of the tooling from the working area in the machine. It has the capability to load/unload 1 full meter (3 feet) of tooling at a time.
ATA – is a system made up of 4 separate selectors (2 upper & 2 lower) that automatically manage/adjust the length of tools according to the bend. This allows for the fastest automatic length adjustments in the market up to 10 feet.

Our Game Changing S4+P4 Line - a "Christmas Miracle"
The S4+P4 line punches, shears and bends sheet metal totally automatically, without any intermediate handling.
Set-up in masked time delivers high productivity and makes kit and batch one production possible. The line is modular and can be combined with intelligent solutions for manual or automated feeding and unloading that enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of the parts produced.
